The Client 

Founded in 1800, The Famous Grouse had a simple vision as they describe it to “create the best quality blended whisky” and that is exactly what the brand is now known for across the world.

In fact, our client ACM Christofides is the oldest distributor of The Famous Grouse outside of the United Kingdom, with the highest per capita consumption from all global markets.

The Project 

Opium Works was employed to take over the brand’s social media presence and to make The Famous Grouse the whisky of choice amongst a younger consumer group while retaining the brand’s existing loyal customer base.

Our team dived into competitor analysis and consumer behaviours with the goal to understand the digital landscape the brand operates in, and how to conquer it!

The Execution

We used a combination of local content and global brand assets to produce engaging visuals and informative captions, to increase brand awareness and social media following.

From tips on Famous Grouse mixability, posts about the product’s unique selling points to strategic social media advertising, we invite everyone to take a trip to Grouse Country with us!
