The Client 

The American Academy Larnaca is one of the most respected private schools in Cyprus. Founded in 1908, it has consistently upheld a legacy of academic excellence, character education, and community engagement.

Each year, the school welcomes new students through a rigorous admissions process, which includes a set of entrance exams. Promoting this registration period is a key priority for the school, ensuring that it continues to attract top-tier students from Larnaca and surrounding regions. Our agency was tasked with creating a strategic campaign to raise awareness about the exams and ultimately drive registrations during this critical period.

The Campaign 

The core objective of the campaign was to promote the registration process for the Academy’s entrance exams and ensure maximum visibility among prospective students and their families. The target audience primarily included parents of children finishing primary school, as well as the students themselves, both of whom influence the decision-making process. Our strategic direction focused on combining awareness-building with actionable content to drive traffic to the Academy’s admissions page. 

The Execution 

At the heart of the campaign was a strong key visual paired with a catchy and motivational tagline. This visual identity served as the foundation for all promotional materials, allowing for consistency and instant recognition across all touchpoints.

We adapted the key visual into a short, animated GIF for use across Google Display Ads and local media portals, increasing visibility and engagement through movement and repetition. A custom-produced YouTube video, supported by a targeted voiceover, helped bring the school’s identity and ethos to life through dynamic storytelling.
The offline aspect of the campaign included a series of billboards placed in high-traffic locations across Larnaca. These physical placements reinforced our digital efforts, capturing the attention of parents during commutes and daily routines.

On social media, we ran two separate campaigns on Facebook and Instagram. One focused on broad awareness, ensuring the campaign reached the right audience with high frequency. The second campaign aimed to drive traffic directly to the Academy’s admissions landing page, offering clear information and compelling reasons to register. In parallel, we ran a Display campaign across Google and YouTube with the objective of maximizing awareness.

The Results

The campaign delivered strong, measurable results across all channels. On Facebook and Instagram, our two-pronged approach allowed us to reach the Academy’s entire target audience with high frequency, creating strong recall and brand saturation. Our daily reach averaged between 20,000 and 30,000 users, successfully hitting the campaign’s reach KPI.

On Google Display and YouTube, performance surpassed expectations. With an initial estimated impression goal of 400,000 to 900,000, the campaign ultimately achieved over 1.3 million impressions. Due to this exceptional performance, we increased the campaign’s budget mid-February to amplify its reach further.
