Pizza Hut is an American restaurant chain and international franchise founded in 1958. The company is known for its Italian-American cuisine menu which includes pizza and pasta, as well as side dishes and desserts. The first Pizza Hut restaurant in Cyprus opened in 1991 in Strovolos, marking a new era in the food market, as it was the first franchise restaurant chain, on the island. The challenge was to increase traffic to the website, through search engines at specific times of the day, at the best possible cost per click. To achieve this, we had to consider the competition level of the local food industry and draft up a strategy that would outperform competitors.
Every successful search campaign begins with proper keyword analysis. Our team conducted in-depth keyword research. The search volume of our keywords was impressive; however, some keywords weren’t related with each other, even though everything was food industry-related. Instead of creating one generic campaign, we broke down our keyword list into different individual campaigns, enabling us to identify opportunities and focus our efforts on what was working best. We installed a 24-hour bidding script to manage our bids and bid higher at certain hours of the day with more search activity.
